Pet Arthritis Pain And Depression Reduced By Electronic Current Therapy
Tuxedo is adorable and such a loving little guy. During his younger days, he was very active and seemed to enjoy the training that we did together, including running and going through tunnels. Aside from being adorable, Tuxedo gave me feats since he was such a pro at making messes and destroying things at my apartment such as couch pillows, designer shoes, expensive throw rugs. Just name it. If it was within Tuxedo’s reach or he was able to jump onto a piece of furniture and make it within his reach, he attacked it. Pet Chiropractic
It was only after Tuxedo destroyed a very sentimental item from my childhood that I sat down at the computer to look for answers online. What makes this dog to be hyper? What torments this little soul to come up with such messes each day and cost me so much? I have been wishing peacefulness and sense of calm for Tuxedo.
Then, he did calm down a bit as Tuxedo grows older. But then, he appears to pick up a new trouble. I noticed symptoms of Tuxedo having stiff joints. I sat down at the computer again, searching further for a list of signs and symptoms that might give me a firm answer since I wasn’t sure if he was in pain or not. I hated the idea of him being in pain and wanted to do whatever I could do make sure he was comfortable.
Tuxedo’s stiffness left trouble getting around. He was not able to maneuver the small set of doggy steps next to my bed to reach his favorite spot to nap in the sunshine during the day. I wondered if he might be depressed and it broke my heart.
Then I find myself researching online again. Sure beats the old days where we were limited to whatever we might find in our local libraries! I found Midwest Microcurrent, a veterinary clinic that incorporates electronic current (also known as cranial electrotherapy stimulation) to lessen or eliminate many symptoms that pets might suffer from while searching for what might be troubling Tuxedo and how we could resolve the issues,
Our initial appointment with Dr. Ava Frick and her team provided a diagnosis of canine arthritis and depression for Tuxedo. While I was alarmed to hear this, I was also relieved to know that, with diagnosis in hand, we were ready to move forward on a journey toward healing.
Dr. Frick explained that, once we began Alpha-Stim microcurrent treatments at her office, I could continue Tuxedo’s treatment sessions at home by purchasing our own Alpha-Stim machine. This will free me from the one-hour drive to the clinic each day.
I credit Dr. Frick and the staff at Midwest Microcurrent for bringing the old Tuxedo back to me. Pet Arthritis
